Comprehensive
If your EPP adopted the TPA Builder, they may have selected this version where every single part of the portfolio building process is structured and sequenced by their evaluators.
Review
If your EPP adopted the TPA Builder, they may have selected this version where you first build the entire portfolio using the built-in guidance and tools of the program and then submit your work to your evaluator for review.
Standalone
If you’re not affiliated with an EPP program, you will build your entire portfolio using the amazing built-in guidance and tools of the program alone. There is no interaction with evaluators within the program with this version.

Evaluator
Every single part of your Portfolio building is structured and sequenced by your EPP evaluator. Interaction between you and your evaluator takes place until the complete portfolio is built and approved by the evaluator.
Faculty interacts with candidates to:

Teacher Candidate
Evaluator
You build your entire portfolio on your own using the built-in guidance of the program and its tools. Once complete, you submit your work to your evaluator who navigates the entire portfolio looking for deficiencies, omissions and misunderstandings. Interaction between you and your evaluator takes place until your evaluator decides the portfolio is complete.
Faculty interacts with candidates to discuss:
- pieces of the portfolio.
- review the work in progress.
- help candidates improve performance in areas of weakness.

If you're not affiliated with an EPP program, or the program you affiliated with decided that the Standalone version suits them better, then this is the version for you.
You will build your entire portfolio with the help of the program's built-in guidance and its tools, and if you're in an EPP program that has adopted this version, you can discuss your progress with your instructor in class.
All the tools available to the other 2 versions are available in this version too, except that faculty cannot interact with you within the program.
There are no costs associated to EPP programs that adopt this version.
